Armenian Holy Bible 1.5

This app is a free tool that provides users with access to the wisdom of the Bible. With just a few mouse clicks, users can explore its content without needing an internet connection or having to search for books or testaments.

The Armenian Bible, translated by Saint Mesrob in the early 5th century, holds significant historical value as the first piece of Armenian literature. Moses of Chorene mentions Isaac's translation of the Bible from the Syriac text around 411 AD. However, this translation was deemed imperfect, leading to John of Egheghiatz and Joseph of Baghin's journey to Edessa to translate the Scriptures. They brought back authentic copies of the Greek text and, combined with other copies obtained from Alexandria, a new translation was made from the Greek based on the Septuagint and Origen's Hexapla. This version, currently used in the Armenian Church, was completed around 434 AD.

There are currently four commonly used versions of the Armenian Bible. One is in Western Armenian, primarily used by Armenians in the diaspora, and three translations are in Eastern Armenian, commonly used within Armenia, Iran, Russia, and Georgia. These translations include "Ararat", published by the Armenian Bible Society, "Etchmiadzin translation", published by the Armenian Apostolic Church, and "The New World translation", published by Jehovah's Witnesses.

User Guide:

Each menu item in the app represents a different book of the Bible, and each separate page within a book is a chapter. To access a specific chapter, simply place the cursor in place of the chapter number and enter the desired number. This way, users can easily navigate to their desired chapter without having to scroll through all the chapters.
